IT for Change is calling researchers for the project “Policy Frameworks for digital platforms – Moving from openness to inclusion”, which is supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). IT for Change is seeking ten researchers (3 in Asia, 2 in Africa, 2 in South America and 3 for Europe and North America) for a period of 14 months starting in October 2017. 2017 UK-China IP Symposium, co-hosted by the UKIPO and China’s State Intellectual Property Office, will take place on 22 September 2017 in London. The event will cover, among other topics, IP valuation, international enforcement, and new developments in trademark policies and practice. More information, here.

“The Strategic Inventor” seminar, organized by BananaIP Counsels, will take place on 22 September 2017 in Bangalore, India. The event is aimed to help companies to develop business by providing insights regarding patent law through different learning techniques, such as storytelling, creative problem solving, experiments and role playing.
